I cannot believe we have had two snow events! Just whyyyyyyy? It is hard to imagine but normally, that is a huge bonus for us at the beach. It gets quiet, the birds sit, the snow falls, and it is an excuse to just be still. We carry the season on our shoulders and it is one of the few times we relax. The sun is out today and it is a balmy 33F as I sit on the sofa. My trees are moving so another winter day with winds on the coast.
As we move towards Spring, and that would be true Spring not fake Spring #1 and fake Spring #2, I will be waiting for the waters to warm. Sometimes they do and sometimes they run behind the actual vacations that folks have when the kids are on break. Frustrating but snow and ice could slow us a bit. Might make the Oysters happy!
We had phenomenal Drum fishing last year. We had some nice wreck fishing, great blues and nice pop ups on Spanish that were not always in the ocean! Why go? Listen, we have taken hundreds of families and friends in my 43 years.
Will can top that as he ran two gulf stream boats prior so he is about 12 years up on me as well. I have seen them advance to the new venues as they outgrow all the species they have caught with us! I have also seen then return as they have " done that" and now just want to devote a few hours then have lunch or dinner out on the way home. Get out of your office.
Come to ours! It changes in hours. No sunrise is the same, no afternoon is the same and your experiences can all be different. We have different trips and time slots to accommodate more than one budget. Call us if you are working through that. We understand inflation as well as our boat parts have a tendency to be shipped so we hear you!
