I can't believe we are almost top August. Where did each weekend go? I had alot of projects around the home and guess what? I will be calling my friend Heidi and drafting her for some things . All hands when you have so little time. We have been so fortunate on weather this year. I know.
We have had some gust ups that lasted a week but the fish were still in the mix. Can always be alot worse.
We have been fishing hard and we have seen the Spanish, blues, some small shark, bottom drifts on extended trips when the weather is good, casting opportunities for drum when they pop; what was not to love?
Great families and friends this year. You could write a book on the back and forth. We have had a breeze on the water you may not have on land. I can understand why folks are watching it all. We released 2 cobias lately and honestly were suprised. Waiting on photos from charter. Hoping that is not the turn around and know that we are looking for Drum every day right now. Some days we turn and burn, some days not.
We have some openings so go while the weather is good! You can always call us at home in the evenings. Be glad to book you!
***Saturday shows a NE blow. Know that if you are here now, and want maybe a calmer venue in the ocean then now is the time to try that. We fished inside last week and had good catches but ocean wise, you will probably need to be on board prior to Saturday to see the ocean. If we are pushed from the ocean, the sound side is where you will find the effort.
